Cherry tree wood has its own unique characters.
They grow curvy, out of shape, nothing is typical or uniform in appearance (Note photos).
These Bed Frame posts show just that.

Each post, picket, rail, or section has its own look.
You can choose the footboard and headboard sections as to be the side that you wish to be displayed.
There is no wrong side or wrong end, all in how the display looks to you when assembled.
Further, either section (foot or head) can be displayed as the Headboard, due to both being very near to the same in height or appearance design.
As such, you can not get exact diameters in any measurements, due to the varied growth over the many years and out-of-round cut wood.
